Environmental Monitoring

The Site Map (below and accessible from the menu above) shows all the available layers and by keeping this open as a separate page you can use the map to "see" where you are and to access the information you need.

The top level folders shown below are always visible in the menu on top of the page for navigation to make it easy for you to find the topics you need. Most information is only one level down so you can see easily where you are and where you might want to go.

If you are new to the design of monitoring programs we suggest you start with "The Preliminaries" and work your way through the "frequently asked questions" to begin to get a feel for the scope, issues and requirements for a useful program. Alternatively, if you have a program you need to develop, you can use the program pro-forma as a guide to developing a program and to keep track of your progress.

For those who are more experienced "Get Started" will be more useful together with the additional resources provided there and in "Resources".

You may well need to get advice on the design of your program and if you can answer the questions we pose in "The Preliminaries" you will ensure that you get what you need as efficiently as possible.
